Grenzo commander by user7074884

Format: Commander

Commander: Grenzo, Dungeon Warden

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Grenzo, Dungeon Warden is the enabler of a bottom-of-library reanimation engine. The primary plan is to stack the library bottom with Epitaph Golem/Tomb Trawler effects, then use Grenzo's {2} activation to put cheaply costed creatures into play from the graveyard. The deck's real engine is Workhorse: once The Cauldron of Eternity is on board, removing its last +1/+1 counter kills it, Cauldron places it on the bottom, and Grenzo reanimates it for {2}, producing net mana and looping with Flayer of the Hatebound or Syr Konrad as the kill. Secondary plans are Rakdos midrange beats, commander damage with Blackblade Reforged, and goad/draw from Karazikar. No hidden commander is named; Workhorse is the hidden engine.
