the shroomy storm by user5990646

Format: Commander

Commander: Shroofus Sproutsire

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Shroofus Sproutsire is a mono-green Saproling swarm deck. The primary plan is to build a wide token board, attack with Shroofus and Saprolings so their combat damage triggers create more tokens, and then close the game with Craterhoof Behemoth, Beastmaster Ascension, Return of the Wildspeaker, or Eldrazi Monument. Secondary paths are commander damage through Colossal Dreadmask or Orcrist plus unblockable lands, and grinding value from Toski, Ohran Frostfang, and Tribute to the World Tree. Shroofus acts as both engine and payoff, turning even a single buffed 1/1 connect into several Saprolings. Ruxa, Patient Professor is a valuable supporting lord and recursion piece, not a hidden commander.
