Commander: Y'shtola, Night's Blessed

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Y'shtola, Night's Blessed is a single-faced commander and the deck's primary drain engine: every noncreature spell with mana value 3 or greater deals 2 damage to each opponent and gains life, while her end-step draw triggers once an opponent has lost 4 or more life in a turn. The deck leans into this trigger with a dense package of instants, sorceries, and enchantments, supported by wizard and token makers that turn each spell into repeatable life drain. The hidden partner pair Alisaie and Alphinaud Leveilleur acts as a secondary engine, tutoring each other and drawing cards off the second spell each turn. The win condition is sustained chip damage from Y'shtola, Papalymo, wizard tokens, and Bastion of Remembrance, eventually closing with a large Exsanguinate or a lethal token swing.
