Deck overview

This deck is a focused Mono-Green Stompy strategy designed to deploy over-statted creatures ahead of curve and cast Ghalta, Primal Hunger for as little as {G}{G}. Early mana dorks like Llanowar Elves and Birds of Paradise accelerate into high-power three-drops like Steel Leaf Champion, Pugnacious Hammerskull, and Rhonas the Indomitable. Once the battlefield reaches 10 or more total power, Ghalta, Primal Hunger enters as an undercosted 12/12 trampler that demands immediate answers. The deck converts immense board power into substantial card advantage through engines like Elemental Bond, Garruk's Uprising, and Rishkar's Expertise. Lethal damage is delivered across opponents using massive combat pumps such as Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth, or through sustained trampling combat. While vulnerable to well-timed creature sweepers and lacking stack-based countermagic, high threat redundancy and standalone powerhouses like Gigantosaurus and Carnage Tyrant ensure the deck maintains relentless offensive pressure even if the commander is removed.
