Atraxa

Format: Commander

Commander: Atraxa, Praetors' Voice

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Helmed by Atraxa, Praetors' Voice, this four-color build is a superfriends/proliferate engine that converts counters into momentum. The core plan is to land Atraxa as early as possible, then stack repeatable proliferate effects such as Evolution Sage, Flux Channeler, Inexorable Tide, Karn's Bastion, and Brokers Ascendancy to grow planeswalker loyalty and +1/+1 counters at the same time. The cleanest deterministic finish is Vraska the Unseen's ultimate, whose three Assassin tokens each end the game on contact; otherwise the deck wins through attrition, using mass-counter turns from Ajani Unyielding and huge proliferated threats like Agent Frank Horrigan to break through in combat. There are no infinite combos and no premium tutors, so the deck plays as a resilient, grindy value deck that out-lasts opponents rather than racing them.
