Deck overview

This deck is a five-color kindred midrange strategy commanded by Ashling, the Limitless. Ashling grants all Elemental permanent spells in hand an evoke cost of {4} and creates a temporary token copy with haste whenever a nontoken Elemental is sacrificed. This engine doubles every enter-the-battlefield trigger of high-cost Elementals while enabling aggressive combat swings on the turn they enter. Mana dorks like Smokebraider and Flamebraider ensure Ashling enters play on Turn 3, setting up powerful Turn 4 evoke lines with cards like Mulldrifter, Titan of Industry, and Maelstrom Wanderer. The deck applies overwhelming combat and burn pressure through Omnath, Locus of Rage and Champion of the Path, closing out games around Turn 7. While it possesses tremendous value engines and resilient graveyard recursion, the strategy lacks stack interaction and instant-speed plan protection, making Ashling vulnerable to targeted removal during critical setup windows.
