Deck overview

This mono-green deck uses Bear typal synergies to overwhelm opponents through combat. Led by Beorn the Fierce, the strategy focuses on curving out with cheap 2-drop Bears and Changelings before deploying the commander on Turn 4. Once Beorn enters the battlefield, it converts board presence into immediate card advantage by drawing two cards each combat while giving the team trample and a +2/+2 boost. The deck leverages mono-green ramp to stay ahead of curve and uses heavy card draw to replenish its hand after deploying threats. Midgame power spikes come from anthem effects like Beastmaster Ascension and trample enablers like Garruk's Uprising. While the deck generates high combat pressure and consistent hand replenishment, it lacks stack interaction and relies heavily on resolving combat damage. It is vulnerable to exile-based board wipes but can recover quickly thanks to redundant creature packages and high-volume card draw.
