Deck overview

This Boros Voltron deck uses Lightning, Army of One to eliminate opponents through explosive combat damage. Lightning features first strike, trample, lifelink, and the Stagger ability, which doubles subsequent damage dealt to a player after taking combat damage. By combining Lightning with high-power Equipment like Colossus Hammer, Excalibur, Sword of Eden, or Wrecking Ball Arm, the first strike damage trigger enables immediate one-shot eliminations on Turn 4. The deck relies on premier equipment tutors and cost-cheating engines such as Stoneforge Mystic, Sigarda's Aid, and Forge Anew to bypass heavy equip costs. Turn-silencing cards like Conqueror's Flail and Voice of Victory ensure combat steps remain uninterruptible, while Aggravated Assault paired with Sword of Feast and Famine provides a compact infinite combat win condition.
