Token Beat Down by Tonybark420

Format: Commander

Commander: Baylen, the Haymaker

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Naya token-swarm deck helmed by Baylen, the Haymaker, who converts the deck's core resource - tokens - into mana, cards, and a pump/trample finisher. The plan is straightforward: flood the board with tokens through a dense package of generators and six token doublers (Parallel Lives, Doubling Season, Anointed Procession, Mondrak, Glory Dominus, Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation, Elspeth, Storm Slayer), then close the game through combat (Craterhoof Behemoth, Jetmir, Nexus of Revels, Beastmaster Ascension) or table-wide ETB burn (Purphoros, God of the Forge, Impact Tremors, Warleader's Call, Agate Instigator). Halo Fountain offers an alternate "tap fifteen creatures" win. The deck is a midrange value engine with a deep instant-speed protection suite rather than a fast combo deck.
