Format: Commander

Commander: Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Mono-black aristocrats/sacrifice deck. The commander Sephiroth provides a repeatable draw trigger on attack and a death-trigger engine that transforms into One-Winged Angel for an emblem and mass draw. Primary plan is to create death loops with cheap recursion and sacrifice outlets, draining opponents with Blood Artist-style effects. Secondary win is a one-shot combat kill using Bloodletter of Aclazotz and Unstoppable Slasher, often enabled by Lightning Greaves. The deck avoids reliance on the command zone by using tutors and recursion to find combo pieces or grind value. Both commander faces matter: the front supplies early card flow and flip setup, while the back creates the emblem that doubles the drain output.
