Deck overview

This deck is an Elemental kindred midrange engine led by Ashling, the Limitless. Ashling grants all Elemental permanent spells in hand evoke {4} and creates temporary hasty token copies whenever nontoken Elementals are sacrificed. This turns expensive, high-impact Elementals into discounted double-trigger powerhouses. Early turns focus on accelerating mana through specialized kindred ramp like Smokebraider, Flamebraider, and low-cost dorks. By Turn 4, the deck establishes an engine with Risen Reef, Temur Ascendancy, or Garruk's Uprising, drawing massive card volume off evoked creatures. On Turn 5, it transitions into critical onset by deploying threats like Cavalier of Flame, Avenger of Zendikar, and Champion of the Path, creating an overwhelming wide board with immediate haste. It defends its plays using free pitch spells like Solitude and Subtlety while pushing through blockers with asymmetric sweepers like Raise the Palisade. It reliably closes the game on Turn 6 through overwhelming combat damage and extra attack phases.
