Zada, Hedron Grinder by user9348062

Format: Commander

Commander: Zada, Hedron Grinder

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an aggressive mono-red spellslinger deck built to abuse Zada, Hedron Grinder's copy trigger. The plan is to assemble a wide board of cheap creatures-Akroan Crusader, Young Pyromancer, Krenko, Tin Street Kingpin, and token spells like Dragon Fodder-then cast Zada and chain one-mana cantrips that target only her. Each spell copies for every other creature, drawing a card per copy and building a high storm count. The win is delivered by Empty the Warrens plus an overrun-style attack backed by Fists of Flame, Shared Animosity, Bulk Up, and Gratuitous Violence. Backup damage comes from Guttersnipe, Impact Tremors, Firebrand Archer, and General Kreat, the Boltbringer. Mirrorwing Dragon gives redundancy if Zada is unavailable. The deck is explosive but linear: it needs its commander online and a cantrip chain to function.
