Deck overview

This Boros deck is an aggressive tribal engine led by Thorin, King of Durin's Folk. The strategy focuses on establishing early Dwarf board presence and deploying Thorin to convert every creature entry into Treasure tokens and scaling power buffs. High Dwarf density ensures rapid board expansion, turning small utility creatures into massive lethal threats within a single turn cycle. Mana acceleration is bolstered by Magda, Brazen Outlaw and Xorn, enabling explosive midgame turns and tutoring for win conditions like Hellkite Tyrant. The deck shields its wide board using instant-speed protection and flicker spells like Boros Charm, Eerie Interlude, and Ghostway, which double as massive ETB value engines. Efficient removal such as Swords to Plowshares and Dispatch handles opposing threats while Shared Animosity and Dáin of the Ancient Halls provide redundant offensive pressure to close out games through overwhelming combat damage.
