Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis control build commanded by Edea, Possessed Sorceress that weaponizes opponents' creatures against them. By combining temporary theft with widespread goad effects, the strategy forces opposing players to deplete each other's life totals while keeping the pilot safe behind pillowfort taxes like Propaganda and Collective Restraint. Edea's combat trigger steals the best creature on the battlefield every turn with haste, while her passive ability draws cards whenever those borrowed creatures die, turning sacrifice outlets like High Market and Deadly Dispute into potent card-advantage engines. A dense counterspell suite featuring Force of Will and Counterspell protects key turns, while damage doublers like Bitter Feud and finishers like overloaded Spectacular Showdown and Cyclonic Rift ensure a clean transition from table-wide attrition to a decisive combat victory.
