Deck overview

This is a high-octane Gruul combo deck built to turbo out Etali, Primal Conqueror as early as turn 2-3, leveraging its explosive ETB to chain free spells into a win. The deck packs a dense ritual suite (Seething Song, Pyretic Ritual, Desperate Ritual, Geosurge) and zero-mana artifacts (Lion's Eye Diamond, Chrome Mox, Mox Diamond) to accelerate past the 7-mana commander tax. Once Etali lands, its exile trigger can hit copy spells (Twinflame, Heat Shimmer, Electroduplicate) to duplicate Etali, generating multiple ETBs and overwhelming value. The primary win conditions are infinite combos: Food Chain + Squee, the Immortal for infinite mana (then cast Etali repeatedly or transform into the 11/11 infect side), Dualcaster Mage + Twinflame for infinite hasty tokens, and Underworld Breach loops to recur rituals and tutors. The deck can also win through combat damage via Etali's infect transformation or a massive board of copied creatures. It is a glass-cannon strategy that aims to win before opponents can establish meaningful interaction.
