Deck overview

This deck is a classic Naya Dinosaur Tribal Stompy list led by Gishath, Sun's Avatar. The primary game plan revolves around steadily developing mana through land drops and ramp spells, then deploying Gishath with haste, trample, and vigilance. When Gishath deals combat damage, its ability reveals cards from the top of the library and cheats large Dinosaur threats like Ghalta, Primal Hunger, Carnage Tyrant, and Zetalpa, Primal Dawn directly onto the battlefield. The deck backs up this explosive combat engine with synergistic buffs like Tangleweave Armor, Overrun, and Full Throttle to multiply combat damage and eliminate opponents across two combat cycles. While the deck boasts high threat density and resilient individual monsters, it operates at a moderate tempo due to an eight-mana commander and limited low-cost fast mana. Protective spells like Veil of Summer and Blossoming Defense help safeguard Gishath during critical attack windows to ensure overwhelming board dominance.
