Commander: Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a four-color Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder storm/combo deck built around one core idea: connect with Yidris once, then bury the table in cascading spells. The deck is packed with rituals and mana-generating permanents like Dark Ritual, Culling the Weak, Jeska's Will, Birgi, God of Storytelling, and Treasonous Ogre to chain through the library. The primary win conditions are storm-based lines through Mind's Desire and Aetherflux Reservoir, with backup damage multipliers like Furnace of Rath, Dictate of the Twin Gods, and Repercussion turning Yidris's cascade chain into lethal reach. The commander is both the engine and the enabler: getting a single Yidris combat trigger off turbo-charges the entire turn, letting the deck chain spells far beyond its mana base. The deck also packs a meaningful reanimation package with Reanimate, Entomb, and Unmarked Grave to assemble combo pieces directly from the graveyard.
