Deck overview

This Nekusar, the Mindrazer deck is a dedicated wheel and group slug strategy designed to turn card draw into lethal damage. The deck accelerates through early turns using efficient mana rocks before deploying Nekusar or redundant pingers like Underworld Dreams, Fate Unraveler, and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse. Once a damage engine is established, symmetrical wheel effects such as Wheel of Fortune, Windfall, and Dark Deal force all players to draw and discard massive hands, dealing lethal bursts of damage across the table. Damage doublers like Solphim, Mayhem Dominus and alternate win conditions like Phyresis drastically accelerate the clock, while Waste Not and Jeska's Will generate the mana required to chain multiple wheels in a single turn. Defensively, free countermagic protects the commander while hand disruption keeps opponents off balance.
