Deck overview

This deck is a high-power cEDH Esper combo-control list built on extreme mana velocity, universal tutor access, and compact stack-based win conditions. While Zur the Enchanter provides a resilient command-zone fallback capable of tutoring powerhouse enchantments such as Necropotence, Rhystic Study, or Power Artifact, the main strategy operates independently of the commander. The deck leverages explosive fast mana like Dark Ritual, Mana Vault, and Chrome Mox to assemble a Turn 2 to 3 win. Its primary finish combines Thassa's Oracle with Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact to exile the library and trigger an immediate victory on the stack. Redundant lines include generating infinite colorless mana via Power Artifact on Grim Monolith or Basalt Monolith to machine-gun the table with Walking Ballista, or drawing into full-grip superiority with Ad Nauseam. A deep package of free counterspells and silence effects reliably insulates the winning turn from opposing interaction.
