Deck overview

This deck is a Temur midrange stompy strategy piloted by Animar, Soul of Elements. The game plan revolves around casting Animar early and quickly accumulating +1/+1 counters using low-cost creatures and counter doublers such as Branching Evolution and Hardened Scales. As Animar grows, its passive cost reduction reduces the colorless mana required for massive creatures, enabling explosive turns where titanic threats like Darksteel Colossus, Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus, Galactus, Devourer of Worlds, and Maelstrom Wanderer enter the battlefield for minimal mana. Card draw engines like Rhystic Study, Consecrated Sphinx, and Last March of the Ents keep the hand filled with threats. The deck closes games through overwhelming combat damage, leveraging trample and power multipliers to defeat the entire table in a single decisive combat swing.
