A Threatening Gale by GulliasTurtle

Format: Commander

Commander: Gale, Waterdeep Prodigy and Street Urchin

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Gale, Waterdeep Prodigy with the Street Urchin Background is a spells-matter control deck that turns every instant/sorcery into card advantage by recasting the opposite type from the graveyard. Street Urchin turns stolen creatures and spare artifacts into repeatable one-damage pings, letting the deck dismantle boards. The primary path is to reduce spell costs, sculpt the graveyard with cantrips, then close with Insurrection or Mass Mutiny by stealing an entire board; secondary wins involve grinding with theft effects and sacrifice outlets. Gale is the engine, while Street Urchin is the payoff/control piece. The deck is moderately commander-dependent: without Gale it loses recursion, but still has removal and draw.
