Deck overview

This deck is a four-color Midrange Cascade list built around Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder. The deck's primary goal is to accelerate into all four colors, deploy Yidris, and push through combat damage to grant cascade to every spell cast from hand during the second main phase. Once active, the engine rapidly cheats high-cost spells such as Genesis Ultimatum and Soulfire Eruption onto the stack, establishing an overwhelming presence. Because it lacks instant-speed infinite combos and universal tutors, the deck plays an honest combat-oriented game, utilizing combat buffs like Blitzball Shot and unblockable enablers like Rogue's Passage to guarantee combat damage connections. While vulnerable to early spot removal targeting the commander, a high concentration of resilient threats and card advantage spells ensures solid backup capability in longer, grindy multiplayer games.
