the best defense… by acolyte-of-majora

Format: Commander

Commander: Blor the Impervious

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a mono-green voltron deck built to keep Blor the Impervious on the battlefield while stacking Auras, Equipment, and +1/+1 counters. Blor's hexproof and indestructible make it an ideal carrier, while Strong Back, Bear Umbra, and Blanchwood Armor turn it into a two- or three-shot commander-damage clock. Fight spells clear blockers and damage-draw Auras keep the hand full. There is no hidden commander; Thrun, Breaker of Silence is the only real backup carrier, and most paths still rely on Blor attacking. The secondary plan is to suit up Thrun or use Ezuri's Predation to create tokens if Blor becomes unavailable.
