Cthulhu by XavierSt33l

Format: Commander

Commander: Ghave, Guru of Spores

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Ghave, Guru of Spores anchors an Abzan token/aristocrats engine that turns creature deaths into massive advantages. The primary line is to ramp Ghave early, add a sacrifice outlet such as Ashnod's Altar and a token doubler (Doubling Season, Parallel Lives, or Chatterfang), then loop Ghave's counter removal and sacrifice ability to create infinite Saproling deaths. Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Elas il-Kor, or Slimefoot convert those deaths into lethal drain. The commander is the pivot for most combos, but the deck also has midrange grind options in Grave Pact and Teysa Karlov, with card advantage from Sylvan Library and Skullclamp. There is no double-faced hidden commander.
