Deck overview

This Dimir deck utilizes Gisa and Geralf to anchor a Zombie tribal and graveyard recursion strategy. The early game focuses on deploying land drops and mana rocks such as Arcane Signet and Talisman of Dominance while stocking the graveyard using self-mill enablers like Stitcher's Supplier and Mire Triton. Once the commander enters on turn 4, it establishes repeatable card advantage by casting a Zombie creature from the graveyard each turn. The mid-game develops a lethal board presence using synergistic lords such as Death Baron, Lord of the Accursed, and Diregraf Captain, alongside sacrifice outlets like Yawgmoth, Thran Physician and Undead Augur for steady card draw. The deck pivots into a win on turns 7 to 9 through overwhelming token armies from Army of the Damned, mass reanimation with Zombie Apocalypse, or life-draining bursts from Gray Merchant of Asphodel, closing games through evasive combat and aristocrat life loss.
