Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos spellslinger burn deck led by Kuja, Genome Sorcerer. The strategy focuses on amassing Wizard creatures and tokens to transform Kuja into Trance Kuja, Fate Defied, which doubles all damage dealt by Wizards. The deck supports this game plan with low-cost red cantrips like Ancestral Anger and Crash Through, paired with redundant pingers such as Guttersnipe, Coruscation Mage, and Fiery Inscription. Once Kuja transforms, chaining multiple cheap spells dishes out massive, symmetric burn damage to all opponents simultaneously. Mana engines like Storm-Kiln Artist, Jeska's Will, and Mana Geyser provide explosive turns to finish the table in a single high-velocity flurry. While the deck boasts heavy spot removal to disrupt enemy commanders and artifacts, it carries little proactive protection against board wipes and relies on natural redundancy to rebuild.
