Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a midrange Abzan poison deck helmed by Vishgraz, the Doomhive. The plan seeds poison counters through toxic and infect creatures, then multiplies them with a dense proliferate suite until opponents hit ten. Vishgraz, the Doomhive accelerates the board by ETB-ing three toxic Mites and growing larger as the table accumulates poison, while menace helps him connect. Secondary pressure comes from heavy hitters like Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon, Tyrranax Rex, and Phyrexian Swarmlord, plus corrupted payoffs such as Ixhel, Scion of Atraxa and Goliath Hatchery. There are no infinite combo lines; the deck wins through combat poison and repeated proliferate. Ramp and modest card draw support a steady curve into the commander and value engines, with light interaction to clear blockers or answer key permanents.
