Commander: Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph commands a specialized spellslinger and ping deck that turns minor increments of 1 damage into lethal bursts. Ghyrson triggers whenever another source deals exactly 1 damage, adding 2 damage to turn micro-sweepers and spell triggers into 3-damage missiles. The deck establishes early pingers like Firebrand Archer and Thermo-Alchemist, drops Ghyrson with built-in Ward protection, and sweeps opposing boards while burning life totals. The primary win condition chains cheap noncreature spells through damage-based draw engines like Curiosity and Ophidian Eye, culminating in lethal burn or an infinite damage loop with Niv-Mizzet, Parun or Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind.
