Deck overview

This Boros deck is an aggressive Dwarf tribal strategy built around the Storied mechanic and commander Bifur, Melodic Rider. The game plan focuses on curving out with efficient legendary Dwarves and cheap Equipment to reach the threshold of three qualifying permanents early, turning on the enduring story state for the rest of the game. Once Storied is online, Bifur enters to double all Dwarf triggered abilities, causing token producers like Fíli the Pathfinder and combat doublers like Dáin Ironfoot to supercharge the board. The deck leverages team buffs like Charge the Sanctum and Thorin's Last Stand to close games via broad combat pressure over multiple turn cycles. While resilient to targeted removal thanks to defensive instants and ward effects, the strategy is vulnerable to repeated mass board wipes and requires careful resource deployment to sustain momentum into the late game.
