Aragorn by Schwerdtfeger

Format: Commander

Commander: Aragorn and Arwen, Wed

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Selesnya +1/+1 counters deck, helmed by Aragorn and Arwen, Wed, aims to build a wide board of moderately sized creatures while generating value through life gain, token creation, and Food synergies. The commander provides a steady stream of +1/+1 counters and life when it enters or attacks, strengthening your whole team and padding your life total. The deck's primary win condition is combat damage, leveraging cards like Overrun and Biogenic Upgrade to turn a growing army into lethal threats. A secondary axis revolves around Food tokens, with Peregrin Took and Rosie Cotton of South Lane creating additional resources and card advantage. The strategy is grindy and incrementally powerful, but lacks explosive speed or robust disruption.
