Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Mono-Red Spellslinger deck commanded by Urabrask // The Great Work. Its primary strategy revolves around establishing a mana-refunding engine—principally Urabrask or Birgi, God of Storytelling—and chaining dozens of cheap 1-mana cantrips, rituals, and impulse draw spells. Each instant and sorcery cast triggers noncombat burn from Urabrask and redundant pingers such as Firebrand Archer, Kessig Flamebreather, and Coruscation Mage, dealing lethal damage to all opponents in a single explosive turn. The deck features potent alternate win routes, including the Dualcaster Mage plus Twinflame infinite token loop and Underworld Breach graveyard recursion loops with Lion's Eye Diamond and Wheel of Fortune. Protection pieces like Deflecting Swat, Pyroblast, and Defense Grid safeguard the critical turn against opposing interaction, while low curve requirements ensure rapid recovery and consistent turn 4 lethality.
