Deck overview

This Grixis deck combines Goblin/Orc tribal amass with a graveyard-recursion plan around Sauron, Lord of the Rings. The primary plan is to trigger 'amass' repeatedly - through noncreature spells, Bothersome Noisemaker, and Saruman, the White Hand - so a single Army grows into a giant finisher. Sauron's cast trigger amasses 5, mills five, and reanimates a creature, turning him into an engine and 9/9 trample threat. Secondary paths are a Goblin-wide token plan with Krenko and Siege-Gang Commander, reanimation via Living Death/Reanimate, and selective theft from In the Darkness Bind Them. The deck is built to use Sauron's cast trigger, but Saruman, the White Hand is the hidden commander; many instants/sorceries exist mostly to trigger his amass and generate incremental value.
