Commander: Isshin, Two Heavens as One

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Mardu deck is an Isshin equipment-combat build that uses its commander to double every attack trigger, multiplying extra-combat, draw, and treasure effects. The primary line is to land Isshin, equip a Samurai or Karlach, and turn one attack into two or three combat phases. The secondary, faster plan uses Godo to search up Helm of the Host and loop hasty Godo tokens for infinite combats, while Aggravated Assault plus Reaver Cleaver on a 5+ power creature gives an alternate infinite-combat loop. No hidden commander exists-Godo is a useful combo piece, not a secret commander-and Isshin has no second face to build around. Equipment beatdown with Blackblade Reforged and Akroma's Will remains the fallback.
