Deck overview

This five-color deck pairs Codie, Ravenous Codex with a suite of prepare creatures that feature spell halves. The strategy leverages Displacer Kitten and cost-cheating engines to turn prepare mechanics into game-ending loops. When a prepared spell is cast, Displacer Kitten blinks the source creature, causing it to re-enter the battlefield prepared. Looping Blazing Firesinger // Seething Song produces infinite red mana, Goblin Glasswright // Craft with Pride provides infinite Treasure tokens for color fixing, and Emeritus of Ideation // Ancestral Recall draws the entire deck. The game concludes on the same turn by repeatedly casting Emeritus of Conflict // Lightning Bolt or Stensian Sanguinist // Exsanguinate. In backup lines, Bloom Tender and Freed from the Real generate infinite mana, while Storm-Kiln Artist and Archmage Emeritus provide massive storm velocity. Supported by low-cost interaction, the deck presents a fast and consistent combo clock.
