Let Baaaaaaelooooooth Entertain You! by fredefrits

Format: Commander

Commander: Baeloth Barrityl, Entertainer and Noble Heritage

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Baeloth Barrityl and Noble Heritage form a goad-and-politics engine. You cast Noble Heritage first, then Baeloth, who goads every opposing creature with power less than his own. Noble Heritage's counter ability and a suite of equipment let you pump Baeloth's power while gaining protection from opponents who accept the offer. Goaded creatures die in the chaos, generating Treasures to fuel further development. The deck's secondary plan is to use monarch cards (Court of Ire, Court of Grace, Emberwilde Captain) and value threats like Etali to gain incremental advantage. The primary finish is a boosted Baeloth with double strike, or a huge Chandra's Ignition/Fling effect, while protection spells keep the plan online.
