Deck overview

This deck uses The Notary Hobbits as an explosive mana engine in the command zone. By entering the battlefield with two nonlegendary token copies, the commander creates three Halflings that tap together for nine colorless mana each turn. The deck accelerates through early turns using efficient green land ramp and mana dorks, deploying the commander on Turn 4. On Turn 5, the untaped Hobbits fuel titanic Eldrazi threats such as Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, Kozilek, the Great Distortion, and It That Betrays. Cast triggers ensure immediate value through opposing counterspells, while Annihilator attacks and asymmetric sweepers like All Is Dust dismantle opposing boards. The deck closes games around Turn 7 through overwhelming combat pressure or overrun finishers like Craterhoof Behemoth.
