Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Sultai Dredge and Reanimator engine commanded by Teval, the Balanced Scale. Rather than relying on traditional lands, it runs an 'All-Spells' manabase composed entirely of 18 Modal Double-Faced Cards (MDFCs) alongside artifact acceleration and rituals. The strategy focuses on aggressive self-mill using dredge cards like Golgari Grave-Troll and Stinkweed Imp paired with low-cost cantrips. Once the graveyard is fully stocked, the deck generates explosive mana through Songs of the Damned or clears the table with Living Death, immediately converting board transitions into lethal damage through Syr Konrad, the Grim, Massacre Wurm, and Bloodletter of Aclazotz, or winning directly with Jace, Wielder of Mysteries. Free counterspells like Force of Will and Fierce Guardianship defend the critical turn.
