Deck overview

This deck is a four-color (non-green) Polymorph control strategy commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The deck avoids running small utility creatures in its 99, ensuring every polymorph effect exclusively hits game-dominating bombs such as Archon of Cruelty, Archfiend of Despair, Serra's Emissary, and The Ur-Sphinx. In the opening turns, the deck sets up mana rocks and noncreature token engines like Skrelv's Hive, Dreadhorde Invasion, and Staff of the Storyteller. On turn 4, Jace enters the battlefield and immediately uses his -3 loyalty ability to exile a token and cheat a massive creature directly onto the board. Supported by mass polymorph spells like Synthetic Destiny and Mass Polymorph, along with efficient white removal and sweepers, the deck overwhelms the table through evasive combat damage and attrition.
