Commander: Vishgraz, the Doomhive

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Abzan deck executes an aggressive toxic and proliferate strategy aimed at defeating opponents via ten poison counters. In the early game, low-cost toxic creatures like Crawling Chorus and Bilious Skulldweller deliver initial poison counters. Mid-game turns leverage proliferate spells such as Vraska's Fall and repeatable triggers to increase poison totals table-wide while deploying Vishgraz, the Doomhive. Vishgraz floods the board with toxic Mite tokens and rapidly grows into a lethal menace threat based on total opponent poison counters. Heavy hitters like Tyrranax Rex, Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon, and Noxious Assault close out games through unblockable or evasive combat damage.
