Deck overview

This deck executes a focused Eldrazi kindred strategy led by Azlask, the Swelling Scourge. The game plan combines efficient early ramp and Eldrazi Spawn token generation to build mana velocity and accumulate experience counters. Once assembled on Turn 5, the deck leverages Azlask's five-color activated ability on Turn 6 to turn 0/1 and 1/1 tokens into lethal, indestructible threats with annihilator 1. Supporting engines like Path of Annihilation fix your mana, while Skullclamp and Smothering Abomination turn dying tokens into massive card advantage. Asymmetric colored sweepers including All Is Dust and Ugin's Binding clear opposing boards without touching your colorless permanents. If Azlask is contested, the deck effortlessly pivots into hard-casting legendary Eldrazi titans such as Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, and Void Winnower to close out games through overwhelming board dominance.
