Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari midrange token swarm and aristocratic engine piloted by Camellia, the Seedmiser. The core game plan focuses on generating Food and Squirrel tokens, leveraging forage mechanics and sacrifice outlets to compound board presence, and attacking with evasive, buffed rodents. Early turns establish ramp and initial Food generation through cards like Tireless Provisioner, Vinereap Mentor, and Peregrin Took, followed by deploying Camellia on Turn 3. Once assembled on Turn 4, the deck activates Camellia's forage ability to pump the team with +1/+1 counters and grant menace, or leverages drain engines like Mirkwood Bats and Valley Rotcaller. Without reliance on fast mana or infinite combos, victory is achieved through wide combat damage boosted by Night of the Sweets' Revenge, Deep Forest Hermit, or sustained aristocratic burn across Turns 6 to 8. While vulnerable to sweeping board wipes, the deck maintains steady resilience through graveyard recursion and recursive Squirrel generation.
