Deck overview

Sauron, the Dark Lord commands a Grixis midrange deck focused on amassing massive Orc Armies and triggering the Ring tempts mechanic. Sauron provides both an imposing 7/6 body with built-in ward and a potent card velocity engine, drawing four fresh cards whenever the Ring tempts you and an Army connects. The primary win condition revolves around aggressive combat damage, scaling multiple Nazgul creatures and giant Orc Armies while granting them evasion via The Black Gate and Ring-bearer abilities. Secondary paths to victory include mass creature reanimation through Rise of the Dark Realms, stealing opposing threats with In the Darkness Bind Them, or throwing an enormous Army with Fling.
