Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Bant creature engine commanded by Helga, Skittish Seer. The primary strategy accelerates on Turn 1 with dense 1-mana dorks and enchantments, casts Helga on Turn 2, and starts triggering her ability on Turn 3 with 4-mana creature spells. Each qualifying cast draws a card, gains life, and increases Helga's power, allowing her to tap for substantial mana restricted to large creatures. On Turn 4, the deck explodes by deploying untap engines like Chakram Retriever or Intruder Alarm, chaining creature casts back-to-back to draw deep into the library. On Turn 5, it finishes the table in a single combat step by casting Craterhoof Behemoth alongside haste enablers like Surrak and Goreclaw. The deck maintains strong resilience through efficient protection spells, backup value engines such as Chulane, Teller of Tales and The Great Henge, and high-quality interaction ranging from 0-mana evoke elementals to overloaded Cyclonic Rift.
