massacre girl by EmmanUmali

Format: Commander

Commander: Massacre Girl, Known Killer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-black -1/-1 counters control deck helmed by Massacre Girl, Known Killer. The commander grants wither to every creature you control and draws a card whenever an opponent's creature with toughness less than 1 dies, converting each board wipe into raw card advantage. The plan is to grind the table down with a dense suite of mass -X/-X effects and -1/-1 counter placement - Mutilate, Black Sun's Zenith, Yahenni's Expertise, Darkness Descends - while Nest of Scarabs and Blowfly Infestation convert those counters into tokens and chain reactions. Wins come through combat attrition with wither creatures, Massacre Wurm's death drain, the Revel in Riches treasure alternate, or the Blowfly/Nest engine. It is a slow, inevitability-driven control deck with almost no tutor support, relying on redundancy of effect rather than search.
