Gandalf, Party Guest by ArcyltheRed

Format: Commander

Commander: Gandalf, Party Guest

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Gandalf, Party Guest heads a Jeskai legendary Wizard spellslinger deck that scales its free-cast with the number of legendary Wizards. The primary plan is to assemble 2-4 legendary Wizards, then use Gandalf's beginning-of-combat trigger to cast instants and sorceries for free while generating value from magecraft and token makers. Secondary paths swarm with Spirits, Drakes and Sharks from Kykar, Talrand and Shark Typhoon, ping with Gandalf, Goblins' Bane and Fiery Inscription, and pump with Balmor and Flowering of the White Tree. No infinite combo is present; wins come from incremental combat and spell-trigger damage. Kykar, Wind's Fury acts as a hidden commander for the token engine.
