Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Boros Equipment Voltron strategy centered on Lightning, Army of One. It aims to deploy Lightning early, suit her up with high-impact weapons like Colossus Hammer and Buster Sword, and exploit her Stagger ability to double damage on subsequent turns. Dedicated Equipment tutors like Open the Armory and Fighter Class ensure rapid assembly, while cheat enablers such as Sigarda's Aid, Forge Anew, and Bruenor Battlehammer circumvent steep equip costs. A dense package of protective artifacts, including Mithril Coat, Lightning Greaves, and Swiftfoot Boots, shields the commander from targeted interaction. The deck maintains high resilience through independent alternate beaters like Cloud, Planet's Champion and Kellan, the Fae-Blooded, alongside an instant-win infinite combat combo in Godo, Bandit Warlord and Helm of the Host. While lacking proactive stax pieces and stack interaction, the deck delivers rapid single-target elimination and overwhelming lifegain.
