Bard by Nebstein

Format: Commander

Commander: Bard, Heir of Girion

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Azorius go-wide token deck is helmed by Bard, Heir of Girion, who provides a global +1/+1 anthem to all other creatures and draws a card on every attack. The strategy is to generate a massive army of Human Soldier tokens through the recruit mechanic, attack triggers, and token doublers like Bard, King of Dale and Renewed Solidarity, then close out the game with combat damage amplified by anthems such as Cathars' Crusade, Call for Unity, and Radiant Destiny. A robust recursion package (Sun Titan, Serra Paragon, Sevinne's Reclamation) and blink effects (Brago, King Eternal, Abuelo, Ancestral Echo) generate incremental value and rebuild after wipes. Secondary win conditions include Psychosis Crawler converting the deck's heavy draw into life loss and Mite Overseer's poison counters.
