Hamza critical biomass by Madlarkin

Format: Commander

Commander: Hamza, Guardian of Arashin

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Selesnya (+1/+1 counters) midrange combat deck helmed by Hamza, Guardian of Arashin. The plan is to seed early creatures with counters, cast Hamza at a discount, then leverage his global cost reduction to flood the board with modified bodies, X-spells, and hydras. Counter doublers and anthems (Hardened Scales, Ozolith, the Shattered Spire, The Earth Crystal, Clamavus, Kalonian Hydra) turn a modest board into lethal trampling damage, supported by token makers (Felidar Retreat, Basri Ket, ravenous Tyranids) and landfall. There are no infinite combos; wins come from overwhelming combat. Hamza is a powerful accelerator and 5/5 body but is not required for the counters plan to function-the 99 already generates and pays off +1/+1 counters independently.
