Deck overview

This deck is a Naya midrange strategy centered on Sigurd, Jarl of Ravensthorpe, blending Saga chapter manipulation with +1/+1 counter proliferation and creature tokens. Sigurd serves as both an offensive threat and an engine piece, using his boast ability to either accelerate powerful third chapters or repeat beneficial early chapters, all while growing the rest of the board. The deck develops steadily across the early turns by playing value Sagas, ramp spells, and scaling creatures like Botanical Brawler. As Sagas reach completion, they transform into formidable threats or generate tokens via Historian's Boon and Dion, Bahamut's Dominant. Victory is achieved by grinding out incremental card and board advantage, eventually overwhelming opponents across consecutive combat phases with large, trample-enabled attackers or unblockable swings facilitated by Bond of Discipline.
