Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Aura control and pillowfort strategy commanded by Eriette of the Charmed Apple. The primary game plan revolves around enchanting opponents' key creatures with low-cost and goading Auras such as Coercive Impetus and Petrify. Eriette turns these Auras into an asymmetric defense, preventing enchanted creatures from attacking you while draining each opponent's life total at your end step. Cost reducers like Killian, Ink Duelist and Starfield Mystic accelerate Aura deployment, while enchantresses replenish your hand. As the Aura count grows, Eriette drains substantial life each turn, supported by token generators like Sigil of the Empty Throne and Archon of Sun's Grace. High-impact Curses like Overwhelming Splendor neutralize troublesome opponents, and the infinite combo of Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond provides an alternate instant-win condition.
